Life could NOT be understood backwards

Soren Kierkegaard once said “Life could only be understood backwards but it must be lived forwards”. It seems here that Kierkegaard had failed to recognize the true randomness of that so-called life. What really could be understood about life is that it is a truly random event. When one looks back at her or his own life at her or his deathbed she or he could only trace back a random trajectory that is unique to her or him. Since there exists a large number of possible paths that she or he had chosen more or less randomly NOT to explore, her or his reflections at the end of her or his life must be very biased. Because of such a large amount of biases only a person with utter ignorance could claim that life could be understood backwards.
